1) First obtain your Active Kids Voucher from Service NSW
2) Play Football - Tea Gardens Junior or Tea Gardens Walking Football Program
3) Follow the prompts to register.
Note: No need to contact the club unless registering after the season has begun.

Training
Training is conducted at Memorial Park 4pm - 5pm Thursday (no training during school holidays).

Teams
We run 4 competitions:
All players are graded and teams are a combination of male and female players of mixed skill levels to ensure a fair competition
*Social game no structured teams or training
- Minis: 5 to 7 years
- Midis: 8 to 10 years
- Juniors: 11 to 15 years
- *Walking FootBall: 50 years plus

Games
- Games are held at Memorial Park, Witt St, Tea Gardens
- Games start from 9am Saturdays Juniros
- First game of the season 3 May 2025
- Walking FootBall Program 1230pm (First game 10 May 2025)
- No games during school holidays/long weekends
Trial Games
- At the beginning of the season we aim to run 2 trial games.
- Trial games allow new players to try soccer prior to committing
- Trial games also allow for the grading players to ensure a fair team allocations
- Registration is not required for the trial games
- Players should aim to attend all trial games where possible
Uniform
Uniform consists of:
- Team jersey - Supplied on game days and returned for washing at the end of each game
- Maroon shorts - can be purchased from the canteen for $20
- Light blue socks with maroon stripes - 1 pair supplied free to new registrations - can also be purchased from the canteen
- Boots
- Shinpads - must be worn!
Information for volunteers
Volunteers are required to register with playfootball.com.au and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Both of these are free.

- Go to Play Football
- Type in "Tea Gardens" and click on "Tea Gardens Soccer Club" and follow the prompts to register as a volunteer.
To apply for a WWCC:
- Complete the online form here, and your will be emailed a confirmation.
- Go to Service NSW with the identification required.
- When you receive your WWC number please forwarded it to [email protected] with your full name, WWCC #, Date Of Birth and expiration date of the WWCC# to verify you on the system.
- Checks are valid for 5 years
Information for team parents
Each team requires a designated parent helper. Responsibilities include:
- Collect team bag and oranges from the canteen
- Hand out jerseys
- Capture goals and final score on scorecard
- Manage substitutions and ensure all players get a turn
- Award "Player of the match" and "Best and fairest"
- Collect and return jerseys to the tub near the canteen for washing
- Return team bag and scorecard to canteen.
- Rinse and return orange container
